Global Food Safety Symposium
Food Safety in the Global Arena: Past, Present, and Future
Context: Michigan State University (MSU) has been conducting the International Food Safety
Short Course annually since 1999 for the past 25 years. Through this international short
course, over 700 professionals from over 60 countries from various regions of the world have
been trained. Participants represented government agencies, academia, and the private sector
that support food safety programs and activities in their respective countries.
To celebrate the achievements of this international short course, the College of Agriculture
