Dayton,!OH!(August!15,!2024)!—"Inspired"by"the"Dayton"Accords"which"ended"the"Bosnian"War,"the"
annual"Dayton"Literary"Peace"Prize,"the"first"and"only"international"literary"peace"prize"awarded"in"the"
United"States,"honors"writers"whose"work"demonstrates"the"power"of"the"written"word"to"foster"
peace."Based"on"that"criteria,"the"Dayton"Literary"Peace"Prize"Foundation"is"pleased"to"announce"the"
following"2024"book"award"finalists"in"the"categories"of"fiction"and"nonfiction."The"winners"will"
