CALIFORNIA,
ESTABLISHINGTHE
OFFICIAL
CITY
POLICY
ON
THE
USE
OF
THE
TICKETS
ANDSKYBOX
FOR
THE
MULTIPURPOSE
STADIUM.
WHEREAS,
pursuant
to
the
Agreement
between
the City
of
Fresno, Fresno
Grizzlies,
Inc.,
and
Fresno
Diamond Group,
LLC,
concerning the construction
and
sublease
of
a
multipurpose stadium, the
City
will
have
the
rent-
free
use
of
a
twelve seat
0
skybox, withtwelve
season
tickets
for
usewith
the
skybox
for
Grizzlies
regularseason
home
games;
and

pursuant
to
the same
Agreement,
the
City may
use the
skybox
for

other
events
but
the City
must
purchase
the
tickets
for those events;
and

pursuant
to
Title
2,
California
Code
of
Regulations
Section18944.

must
adopt
an
official policy regulating
the
distribution
and
use
of
the
tickets
and
skybox
provided
to
the
City
as
part
of
the contract
for
the
use
of
the multipurpose
stadium,

not
considered
gifts
to
the
public
officials
underthe
Political
Reform
Act;
and

WHEREAS,
Council
wants
to
establish
an
official
City
policy
on
the
use
of
the
v
tickets
and
skybox
for
the
multipurpose
stadium.
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE
IT
RESOLVED
by
the
Council
of
the
City
of
Fresno as
follows:
Section
1.
The
tickets
and
skybox
to
the
multipurpose
stadium
provided
to
the City
as part
of
the
Agreement
are
to be
used
for
official
City
business.
Section
2.
The
City
Manager, or
his
or
her
designee,
shall
determine
the
distribution
of
the tickets,
and
may
adopt
any additional
guidelines
relating
to
the
use
of

and
skybox
in
furtherance
of
the
City'
s
official business.
Section
3.
This
Resolution,
together
with
any
guidelines
adopted
by
the City
Manager,
shall
be
the
official
policy
of
the
City
relating
to
the
use
of
the
tickets
and
skybox
to
the
multipurpose
stadium.
