Note: All students entering ACCT 3110 (Intermediate Accounting I)
are required to complete and pass an entrance exam. This policy
applies to both UNT students and transfer students. The exam will
be administered several times a year.
In order to reach 120 hours, this degree will require students to
take some courses that are used to fulfill two requirements
between the core and the pre-business. Please see the RCOB
Undergraduate Programs Office in BLB 110 for advising related

Students may not retake any accounting course which is a prerequisite
for an accounting course they have completed with a “C” or better.
Furthermore, students may not retake any accounting course more
than once (for a total of two times).
Internship (ACCT 4800): Earn 3 hrs credit while working in the accounting
industry. Many opportunities are available, speak with ACCT departmental
advisor regarding requirements. Hours will only count toward elective
hour requirements if needed.
A grade of “C” or higher is required in all Pre-Business,
Professional Development, Business Foundation,
Professional Field, and Supporting Field courses.
A 2.0 UNT, 2.0 Overall, and 2.0 Professional/Supporting
